Amrish Puri is an exponential figure in Indian Film and theatrics. He was born on 22nd June 1932. Between 1967 to 2005, he acted in 400 + movies. His villainous and antagonistic role was well received by audiences and critics alike. He was first discovered as the main villain in Hum Paanch (1980). He will always be fondly remembered for his role of Mogambo in Mr India, Thakur Durjan Singh in Karana Arjun, Balwant Rai in Ghayal and many more. He died of cerebral attack after slipping into a coma on 12th January 2005.
